Mrs. Roos Carlier teaching in Lembang Indonesia

On Friday, November 20, 2009, SMPN 1 Lembang was conducting a Lesson Study by inviting a foreign English teacher. Her name is Roos Carlier. She taught at Jan Prins Montessorischool in Rotterdam. Her name is Roos Carlier and now she has graduated from Cultural Anthropology in University of Amsterdam. The learning activity was about Listening Skill. First, the students should listen to the tape recorder and answer the questions based on the listening transcript. Then the teacher checked the answer together while giving the points to those who could answer the question correctly. After that she told the students about her journey. Then the students wrote her experiences in a piece of paper. So, the students wrote her experiences in the form of recount text.

The students seemed enjoy to study with the foreign teacher, since it was the first time for t hem to have a visiting teacher
